I love watching these videos where other Mums share what they made their family for dinner that week! It gives you ideas & not only that, they also reassure you that you’re not the only one maskerading as a dinner ladder every single day of your life at 5pm!!
So here is my video, sharing 5 nights of family meals! (If you’d rather just read what we ate, scroll to the bottom!)
Monday – Chilli con carne nacho bowl! Beef mince in chilli sauce with onions, peppers & kidney beans & rice mixed through. Served in a bowl with lightly salted tortilla chips, cheese and quark (as a low fat substitute to sour cream.)
Tuesday – Chilli wraps & salad. The leftover chilli and rice inside tortilla wraps with a side salad.
Wednesday – Amy’s sticky chicken. Chicken in my homemade sticky sauce with roasted potatoes & carrots.
Thursday – Sausage pasta bake. Pasta in a bolognaise sauce with veggies & vegetarian sausages mixed through, topped with mozzarella & baked until melty.
Friday – Creamy chicken & mushroom pasta. Pasta with an easy DIY creamy sauce with onions and mushroom mixed through and pan fried chicken pieces.
